We developed a software interface designed to assist with the packing and loading of goods. The primary goal was to enable users to configure various packaging levels—from individual boxes to pallets to full shipping containers—and generate detailed loading lists. These documents would then guide warehouse staff during the physical packaging and loading process.
The initial input from the client consisted of a broad physical overview and a document outlining process categories. Through a thorough review of the materials and multiple rounds of interviews, I translated these high-level descriptions into a clear, structured data model.
Using this foundation, I mapped Users persona and User journey maps, out the process flow and proceeded to create a design prototype that accounted for the full spectrum of loading configurations across different types of goods.
Next, a design prototype was developed taking into all the types of loading different types of goods.
